Being a self-confessed post-rock fanboy, I pretty much love anything without vocals. Admitting this, it would seem that my opinion on such music would be heavily biased and not worth much.
But I genuinely think this is one of the best albums I've heard of the genre.
A superb mix of grinding and soothing sounds, this 8 track album reaches far wider than your run of the mill post-rock album, venturing outside the standard loud/quiet/loud dynamic movements that exhibits their ability to write a melody and sustain it with a great rhythm section (especially their amazing drummer, he who is a treat to see live).
